Kongsbreen glacier is
pushing slowly yet steadily
towards Kongsfjord.

King
of fjords

The fjord of some 300 metres depth cuts deeply into the western coastline of Svalbard – almost 24 kilometres. It is surrounded
by a unique panorama, surmounted by the over 1.200 metres
high summits of „Tre Kronor”. ??

The north western-most offshots of the gulf stream cause
mild climate conditions, despite the arctic surrounding.
This results in a manifold of fauna and flora.
